Electrical Engineer

Salary $70k-75k

Electrical Engineer will report directly to the President and/or Lead Designer depending on the scope of the project.

Duties/Responsibilities

*  Design of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial facilities

* Design of overall power distribution system

* Design of fire alarm system

*Perform calculations to support system designs

*  Attend design and/or construction meetings as required

*  Perform construction site visits as required

* work required hours to complete task and meet company deadlines

*  Develop meeting minutes and/or site observation reports

* Provide overall direction for design team from inception to completion on a project specific basis.

Experience required/Skills Required:

* B.S degree in Engineering or related

* Minimum 3-5 years experience in engineering design for building construction projects

*EIT preferred

* Currently designing building electrical systems

*Some knowledge of Auto CAD, proficient in MS Excel and MS Word

*Must have the ability to interact and perform as part of a team

*Excellent organizational and communications skills are required

*Must be able to traverse difficult terrain (approximately 25% of job) at construction sites with no assistance.
